When the Ravens lose again, there’s a reason: ‘We need to make a statement’

The Denver Broncos’ first two games of the 2017 season have been lost to the Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Both were home games for the Ravens, which was something that was supposed to happen after the team announced it would move to Baltimore.

The Ravens’ offense has been a mess and the defense has been mediocre.

There is still plenty of work to do to get back to where it was in 2017, which is the AFC North, but it has already been done.

And now that the Ravens are back, they need to do more than win out.

And it’s not a stretch to say that there’s not much left to do.

The team will have to find a way to stop getting beat, or else they will fall back to their 2015 record of 1-10.

They also have to start winning more often and at a higher rate.

Here are five things to watch as the Ravens play the Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets on Sunday.

1.

Can the Ravens win with Tyrod Taylor at quarterback?

This isn’t going to be easy.

The defense has to get better, and the offense needs to play more with some help from a more dynamic running game.

But this is also the Ravens’ first chance to put together a winning season in a while, and they have to be ready for this.

The last time the Ravens won two games in a row was in 2008, when they went 2-0.

They needed a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on a snowy night in the AFC title game and a comeback win over Detroit in the season finale to get their season back on track.

But they couldn’t get there.

They went 1-9 in their next five games, but that’s the only time they had a winning record after that, and then their last winning record was 3-9.

That’s a long ways off, but the Ravens need to get over that hump and get to the postseason.

And the only way they will is if they play well.

That will happen against the Bills.

2.

The Jets’ defense is still a mess.

This team is in a position where if they can stop getting beaten by the Broncos, the Bills and maybe even the Jets, they will have a chance to win.

The first three games against the Steelers, Texans and Jets were all wins for the defense.

But the Ravens have had to play better in those games and that has led to some struggles.

If the Ravens can find a groove in the first half, they could win this game.

3.

Can they find the spark in the offensive line?

The Ravens were in the midst of a losing streak and they had the most points in the NFL.

That is a problem.

They lost four starters to injury in the last week and the Ravens did not play well against the Titans on Sunday, either.

It is going to take some time for the offensive linemen to get used to having a new coordinator and get comfortable with new schemes.

They still have to learn to trust one another, and it will be tough to get them to trust each other when they have so many new pieces.

But once they get the offense moving, the offensive lines are going to get a lot better.

And that is going’t happen in a week.

They will still need to win the line battle, but they are on track to get to 2-3, which would put them in contention for the playoffs.

4.

Can this defense hold up against a big offensive line and a running game?

The Bills are going through a lot of changes in their offense.

They have been playing a lot less than usual in 2017 and have allowed just 1,066 rushing yards to opposing running backs.

They are going into their bye week with an offensive line that has struggled with injuries.

They may be without two starters, but this is a unit that will need to be able to hold up.

The Bills defense has allowed a league-low 7,093 rushing yards this season.

And they haven’t allowed more than five rushing touchdowns all season.

So the Ravens should have no problem stopping Buffalo’s run game.

The offensive line will be a major factor.

5.

Can Carson Wentz stay healthy?

The rookie quarterback is in the best shape of his career, but his progress hasn’t been smooth.

He has played just 16 games all season and has been in the starting lineup only seven.

He is dealing with a sprained left knee, and he will be back in the lineup Sunday, but he has not played well.

The Eagles have been very good against the run, but Wentz has had problems in the passing game.

He will have some help in the run game, and that will help his success.

Wentz will need some help.

He did not show much of an improvement in pass protection during his first two seasons in the league, but there are some improvements.

He was able to get away with getting hit on plays
