A sex tape of Hulk Hogan is the stuff of legends, and one of the biggest wrestling storylines in recent memory.
Hogan and ex-wife Brooke Shields, a former Playboy model, had sex on tape at a hotel in 2005.
Now, the tapes have been unearthed and shared widely online.
The Hulkster was born into a wealthy, middle-class family in New York City.
He was the only child of an entertainment executive and a wealthy businessman, and was raised to be a champion wrestler.
But, in 2007, Hogan’s marriage unraveled.
Hogan filed for divorce in May 2010, citing physical and emotional abuse from his wife, which led to a lawsuit.
Hogan sued his former wife for $850 million, but the case ultimately fell apart.
The two sides settled for $25 million.
Hogan’s divorce was later ruled to be invalid because of a “mutual consent” clause.
He settled for less than half of the $75 million.
The sex tape was among a host of items in Hogan’s life that were stolen by his former lover, ex-fiance Heather Clem.
Hogan had been accused of domestic violence in the past, but he was cleared by the court.
In 2013, Hogan married Clem, who had also been married to Hulk Hogan.
In a 2015 interview, Hogan called Clem “my idol” and said he would do anything to have her back.
Clem said the sex tape, which had been posted online, was not a “real” relationship.
Hogan denied ever having sex with Clem and said she was a “sugar baby” and a “puppet.”
Clem had a history of mental illness and struggled with addiction.
In an interview with TMZ in April 2018, she said Hogan had raped her and that he would beat her with a chair.
“I was on the brink of suicide and it was all his fault,” she said.
CleM told TMZ she had sought help from mental health professionals who said the video was a lie.
Hogan eventually pleaded guilty to domestic violence and paid Clem a settlement.
In 2016, he said he had no idea Clem was the person he was suing for $85 million.
He had told The Associated Press that he had been diagnosed with depression and anxiety when he was dating Clem in the 1990s.
Clems, who is now married to Michael Bublé, said in an interview that the sex was consensual.
“My life was in a lot of turmoil.
I was living with the worst addiction in my life,” Clem told The AP.
“At the end of the day, we both wanted to get married, and I wanted to be with my husband.
It was a horrible situation.”
